Is Myspace coming back? Owners confirm relaunch plans

Start rearranging your Top 8: Myspace’s owners are hinting at a comeback. Chris and Tim Vanderhook, whose company acquired Myspace in 2011, say they plan to relaunch the once-dominant social media platform. The brothers confirmed their intentions in Tommy Avallone’s recent documentary Myspace, although they have not announced when the relaunch will happen or what it will look like. "We still own Myspace," Tim Vanderhook said in the documentary. "We are going to relaunch Myspace. We’re just waiting for the right time to do it." Before you start choosing a profile song, there are still plenty of unanswered questions. The owners have not announced a launch date, development timeline, or which classic Myspace features might return. For now, the comeback is closer to a promise than a product. But a promise nonetheless.
