OneDrive is getting a new Windows app and an AI photo agent

Microsoft is revamping its OneDrive cloud storage service with a new Windows app, AI-powered photo features, and improved document sharing. The upcoming OneDrive app for Windows will include a full-fledged gallery view, people view for face recognition, and AI-powered slideshows and editing capabilities. Additionally, a new Photos Agent powered by Microsoft's Copilot AI will allow users to manage their cloud photos more effectively. OneDrive's mobile apps are also getting AI-powered editing tools and a new "moments" tab that surfaces older photos. Furthermore, Microsoft is introducing a "hero link" feature for OneDrive documents, making it easier to share and request access to files, similar to Google Docs. These updates aim to enhance the user experience and make OneDrive a more powerful cloud storage and photo management solution.
