Marvel boss officially responds to X-Men casting rumors

Star Wars actor is currently at the center of X-Men casting rumors The name on every movie insider's lips right now is Adam Driver (Star Wars, Girls). Leaks have attached the actor to not one, not two, but three different villain roles in the MCU's X-Men reboot. Fans debate which role he'd fit best, but they all seem to agree that Driver would be a fantastic get. Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige agrees but reveals that he's never been able to make it happen, not for a lack of trying. Talking to Happy Sad Confused host Joshua Horowitz, Feige said that it is "no secret" he'd like to work with Driver in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He went on to say that Driver has been in talks for a number of MCU projects in the past. Ultimately, Driver has turned down every offer Feige has brought to the actor. "It's a tradition to Zoom with him, and then he passes," the Marvel boss joked. While it has never been officially confirmed by either party, Driver was reportedly Marvel's first pick to play Reed Richards in The Fantastic Four: First Steps.
