Jump Space Price And Update Roadmap Revealed, Including Melee Weapons And First-Person

Jump Space, a co-op space game, is set to enter early access on September 19 for Xbox Series X|S and PC, with a price tag of $20. Ahead of the release, the developers, Keepsake Games, have revealed the game's update roadmap, which includes the introduction of melee weapons, a first-person mode, and an expanded story over the next few years. The early access release will start with Chapter 1: The Resistance Coalition, followed by Chapter 2: Atira Strikes Back in early 2026. In the meantime, the game will receive updates such as text chat, hangar vendors, a ship shield revamp, and new missions. In Q1 2026, Chapter 3: Secrets of the Telmari will bring a first-person mode, more sectors, a scanner revamp, voice chat, and new enemies. The game, which was previously known as Jump Ship, is a co-op experience that allows up to four players to control and repair their shared vessel, resembling games like Left 4 Dead and Sea of Thieves. It features planetary exploration, space walks, and both on-foot encounters and space combat. The game is strictly PvE, with handcrafted missions and random elements to keep the gameplay fresh. Jump Space has already garnered over 1 million wishlists on Steam.
