Tado’s new AI features will adaptively heat your home

Tado, a smart thermostat company, has launched a new AI-powered feature called AI Assist, which aims to optimize home heating for improved efficiency and comfort. The key features include: 1. Adaptive Heating: The AI learns the unique heating and cooling characteristics of each room and fine-tunes the control of the Smart Radiator Thermostats to optimize comfort and energy efficiency. 2. Preheat Before Arrival: The AI uses advanced machine learning to predict when users will return home and preheats the home accordingly. 3. Energy IQ: AI-powered insights that reveal where and how energy is being used, enabling smarter decisions and potential savings. 4. Holiday Mode: Allows users to set their heating to match their time away, ensuring a comfortable home upon return while avoiding unnecessary energy use. The AI Assist feature is available in Europe and the UK for Tado X owners, with existing Auto Assist subscribers being upgraded automatically. However, owners of older Tado hardware will not receive the AI-powered upgrades.
