Skier makes history skiing down Everest without bottled oxygen

Andrzej Bargiel, a Polish adventure skier, has made history by becoming the first person to climb up and ski down Mount Everest without the use of additional oxygen. This was Bargiel's third attempt at the challenge, after having to abandon earlier attempts in 2019 and 2022 due to dangerous conditions. The feat has been hailed by Poland's Prime Minister, who praised Bargiel's accomplishment. Everest, the tallest mountain on Earth at 8,849 meters (29,032 feet), is a notoriously challenging and dangerous climb, and Bargiel's achievement is a testament to his skill and determination.
