Battlefield 6 Has No Free Trial For Game Pass Ultimate And EA Play Members

Battlefield 6, the latest installment in the popular first-person shooter franchise, has launched without a free trial for EA Play and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members. This is a departure from the previous Battlefield 2042, which did offer a 10-hour trial. While EA does not guarantee free trials for all its games, the lack of a trial for Battlefield 6 is somewhat unusual. However, EA Play Pro subscribers can access the game's $100 Phantom Edition as part of their membership. Despite the absence of a free trial, Battlefield 6 has experienced a strong launch, with over 745,000 peak concurrent players on Steam, making it one of the most-played games on the platform. However, this represents only a fraction of the game's total audience, as it is also available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. The Battlefield 6 servers have been able to handle the surge in players, with users being placed in server queues to manage the demand. Experts do not expect Battlefield 6 to outsell Activision's Call of Duty: Black Ops 7.
