Woman arrested for attempted murder after shots fired at Rihannaâs house

Los Angeles police have charged Ivana Ortiz, 35, as alleged shooter that fired a semi-automatic rifle at singerâs home A 35-year-old woman fired numerous shots into the Beverly âHills home of Rihanna on Sunday afternoon, with one round going through a wall âof the house. On Monday, the Los Angeles police department identified the alleged shooter as Florida-born Ivana Lisette Ortiz, who has been booked for attempted murder with bail set at $10,225,000. Authorities say that the suspect opened fire on the property at 1.21pm on Sunday, firing rounds with an AR-15-style rifle. Police say that Rihanna was at home but not hurt. It is not currently known if the singerâs partner A$AP Rocky or their three young children were in the building. According to police sergeant Jonathan de Vera, a spokesperson for the LA police department, no injuries were reported in the incident. Los âAngeles police and a representative for the singer did ânot â immediately respond to requests for comment.
