Trump says US plan to end Ukraine war not 'final offer' for Kyiv

In a recent development, US President Donald Trump has stated that the American plan to end the ongoing war in Ukraine is not a "final offer" for the Ukrainian government. This statement comes as security officials from various countries are scheduled to meet in Geneva, Switzerland, on Sunday to discuss the situation. The details of the proposed plan remain unclear, but Trump's remarks suggest that the US is open to further negotiations and potential adjustments to the terms. The meeting in Geneva is expected to involve representatives from Ukraine, Russia, and other key stakeholders in the conflict. The war in Ukraine has been raging since 2014, following Russia's annexation of Crimea and the subsequent conflict in eastern Ukraine. The situation has been a major source of tension between the US and Russia, with the former providing significant military and economic aid to Ukraine. As the international community continues to seek a resolution to the conflict, Trump's comments indicate that the US is willing to explore different approaches to achieve a lasting peace in the region.
