Ian Holloway slams ‘horrific’ behaviour after Swindon fan throws object at goalkeeper
In a League Two match between Swindon Town and Walsall, a Swindon fan threw an object at the Walsall goalkeeper after the home team scored a late winner. Swindon manager Ian Holloway condemned the "absolutely horrific" behavior, saying the fan should "shut your face and get out of the game." Swindon Town has launched an investigation into the incident, which also included the use of pyrotechnics, objects being thrown, abuse directed at stewards, staff, players, and match officials, as well as damage to stadium property. The club stated that they are aware of "a number of serious incidents" and are taking the matter seriously.
