Elden Ring Nightreign is adding two-player co-op next week
Elden Ring Nightreign, a spin-off from the popular Elden Ring game, is adding a two-player co-op mode on July 30 as part of patch 1.02. Prior to this, the game could only be played solo or with three players. The new "Duo Expeditions" feature is something fans have been requesting, as it allows more flexibility for players who don't have two friends available at once. Additionally, the upcoming patch will include "quality-of-life UI improvements" and options for filtering Relics. This news comes just two months after the company made the single-player experience a bit easier, introducing an automatic revival mechanic and increased rune rewards for solo expeditions. Elden Ring Nightreign has proven to be a hit, with the company recently sharing that the game has reached five million players. The wider Elden Ring universe is also expanding, with a movie in the works, to be directed by Alex Garland.
