The Logitech MX Master 4 is here with haptic feedback, less rubber and the same shape

The Logitech MX Master 4 is the latest iteration of the company's popular wireless mouse, featuring a number of iterative updates over the previous MX Master 3S model. While the overall shape and design remain largely the same, the MX Master 4 introduces a new haptic feedback feature, a lightly textured plastic coating, and other minor improvements. The haptic feedback is integrated into the thumb rest and provides subtle vibrations for various actions, though its integration is currently limited to a few applications. The mouse also features a longer-extending horizontal scroll wheel, larger PTFE feet for smoother gliding, and a more powerful internal chip for improved connection quality. The MX Master 4 retains many of the beloved features from previous models, including the virtually silent main buttons, 70-day battery life, and the ability to connect to multiple devices. However, some existing issues, such as the lack of a USB-C cable and the basic 125Hz polling rate, remain. Overall, the MX Master 4 is an incremental update that should appeal to power users and productivity-focused Logitech fans, though it may not be an essential upgrade for those already satisfied with an older MX Master mouse.
