Justin Rose wins nail-biting playoff against JJ Spaun to claim FedEx Cup title

Justin Rose, a 45-year-old English golfer, won the FedEx St Jude Championship in a nail-biting playoff against JJ Spaun. Rose produced a sensational finish, recording six birdies in the last eight holes to catch up with Spaun, the US Open champion. Despite a bogey at the 12th that dropped him two shots behind the leaders, Rose's late surge allowed him to force a playoff, which he ultimately won, becoming the oldest European to win on the PGA Tour in the modern era.
