Battlefield alum DevAlly raises €2M to help companies with Europe’s feisty new accessibility law

DevAlly, a startup founded by veterans of the popular video game series Battlefield, has raised €2 million in pre-seed funding. The company aims to help businesses comply with the European Union's new accessibility law, which requires websites and mobile apps to be accessible to people with disabilities. The funding round was led by European venture capital firms Headline and CapitalT, with participation from several angel investors. DevAlly plans to use the funds to expand its team and further develop its platform, which offers tools and services to help companies assess and improve the accessibility of their digital products. The startup's co-founders, who previously worked at DICE, the studio behind Battlefield, believe that the growing awareness around accessibility and the new legal requirements in Europe have created a significant market opportunity for their business. DevAlly's platform aims to simplify the process of ensuring digital products are accessible, helping companies avoid legal issues and improve the user experience for people with disabilities.
