Bubblegum and Marceline finally take center stage in new Adventure Time spinoff series

The fan-favorite Adventure Time couple will headline a new HBO Max spinoff Bubbline fans rejoice: Princess Bubblegum and Marceline the Vampire Queen are finally getting a show of their own. Warner Bros. Discovery announced Wednesday at the Annecy Animation Festival that HBO Max has ordered Adventure Time: Bubblegum and Marceline, a new 10-episode animated series focused on the beloved couple. According to the official logline, the series will follow Bubblegum and Marceline as they "journey across the farthest reaches of Ooo, encountering familiar faces and new dangers." The new series comes from Emmy-winning Adventure Time veteran Adam Muto, who returns as showrunner and executive producer after previously leading Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake and Adventure Time: Distant Lands. Fred Seibert and Sam Register will also serve as executive producers, with the series produced in partnership with Cartoon Network Studios.
