EcoFlow says its new Ocean Pro is better than Tesla’s Powerwall
EcoFlow, a renewable energy company, has launched its new Ocean Pro home energy system in the US. The system includes a 10kWh battery that can be expanded to 80kWh, a 40kW inverter, and an AI-powered energy management system. EcoFlow claims the Ocean Pro is more powerful than Tesla's Powerwall 3, with support for larger solar arrays, more batteries per inverter, and a higher flooding rating. The system can be installed indoors and comes in three finishes to blend in. It can operate in grid-tied mode, integrates with smart home devices, and offers real-time energy monitoring and optimization through the EcoFlow app. EcoFlow says the Ocean Pro can save homeowners up to 118% on their electricity bills. The system is a permanent, whole-home energy solution aimed at providing energy independence and stability in the face of extreme weather, rising energy costs, and power grid instability.
