UK traffic to popular porn sites slumps after age checks introduced
The UK has introduced strict age verification rules for accessing pornographic websites under the Online Safety Act. Specifically, daily visits to Pornhub, the most widely used porn site in the UK, dropped from 3.6 million on July 24th, the day before the age-gating rules were implemented, to 1.9 million on August 8th, a decrease of 47%.
