Arc Raiders Is Having One More Stress Test Before Launch, And It'll Be Open To Everyone

Arc Raiders, an extraction shooter developed by Embark Studios, is having one more stress test before its official launch on October 30. The Server Slam Open Test will be held from October 17-19 on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. This open weekend will allow players to explore the Dam Battlegrounds and experience elements of progression and crafting while completing a set of quests. Players who participate will unlock an exclusive backpack cosmetic for the full game, but their progress will not carry over. The stress test will be open to everyone aged 16 and older, without the need for a download key or an invite. This comes after the developer previously stated they were not planning any more playtests. Arc Raiders is set to launch as a paid game, priced at $40, amid a crowded gaming calendar, with the game arriving shortly after the release of several high-profile titles, including The Outer Worlds 2, Dragon Quest 1 & 2 HD-2D Remake, Ninja Gaiden 4, and Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2.
