Spotify, Canva and other apps can now connect to ChatGPT

Spotify, Canva, and other popular apps can now integrate with ChatGPT, the artificial intelligence chatbot developed by OpenAI. The integration is enabled by OpenAI's new Apps SDK, which allows developers to create and submit their apps for review and publication. Users can now interact with these third-party apps directly within ChatGPT, such as asking Spotify to create a playlist for a party or instructing Canva to design posters for a business. The first time an app is mentioned, users will be prompted to connect their account to ChatGPT. Currently, ChatGPT can connect to Spotify, Canva, Coursera, Figma, and Zillow, with DoorDash, OpenTable, Target, and Uber expected to be added in the coming weeks. OpenAI plans to open the submission process for more developers to integrate their apps with ChatGPT later this year. The integration aims to expand the capabilities of ChatGPT and provide users with a more seamless and streamlined experience when using various online tools and services.
