Bowser Retires From Nintendo

Doug Bowser, the president of Nintendo of America, is retiring after over a decade with the company. Bowser will step down on December 31, with executive vice president Devon Pritchard taking over as the new president. In the press release, Bowser expressed his pride in the team's accomplishments and praised Pritchard as an exceptional leader who is ready to guide the company to even greater heights. Pritchard, who has been with Nintendo since 2006, is "humbled and excited" about the promotion and plans to continue Nintendo's legacy of "surprising and delighting" fans. Nintendo president Shuntaro Furukawa thanked Bowser for his contributions and expressed confidence that Pritchard will support the company's mission of creating smiles. Pritchard will join Nintendo of America's Board of Directors, alongside senior executive Satoru Shibata.
