This update is expected to arrive in the latter part of the summer. Currently, ChatGPT is an optional add-on to Apple's AI model, accessible through Siri. The integration with GPT-5 will enhance Apple Intelligence's capabilities, particularly in areas like coding, accuracy, and safety. OpenAI claims that GPT-5 is its safest model to date, with a new "Safe Completions" feature to ensure helpful responses within safety parameters. GPT-5 will be available for free to everyone, while OpenAI also offers paid plans, ranging from $20 per month for ChatGPT Plus to $200 per month for the Pro plan with unlimited use. Users with these paid plans can log in through Apple Intelligence and enjoy the same benefits.
