Playing New Call Of Duty Games On Game Pass Just Got More Expensive

Microsoft has announced significant changes to its Xbox Game Pass subscription service, including price hikes, tier renamings, and new benefits for subscribers. The most notable change is the increased cost for playing new Call of Duty games through Game Pass. Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, now priced at $30 per month, will still allow subscribers to play new Call of Duty titles at launch. However, the price for PC Game Pass has increased from $12 to $16.50 per month, a 37.5% increase. Subscribers to the lower-tier Xbox Game Pass Essential and Premium (formerly known as Core and Standard) will not have access to new Call of Duty games at launch. Instead, Premium subscribers will receive these games within a year of their launch, with the exception of Call of Duty titles. The changes aim to provide different options for Game Pass subscribers, but the increased costs for accessing new Call of Duty games may be a concern for some users. Amazon continues to sell one-month Game Pass Ultimate subscriptions for $20, which may be a more affordable option for some players.
