Italian biathlete Rebecca Passler will be allowed to compete in the 2026 Winter Olympics after her appeal against a provisional suspension was upheld. The Italian anti-doping body (Nado) acknowledged the possibility of unintentional ingestion or unknowing contamination of the banned substance Letrozole, which was detected in a doping test on January 26. Passler will rejoin her teammates on February 16 and be available for subsequent Olympic competitions.
