Meta’s AI translation tool can dub your Instagram videos

Meta, the parent company of Facebook and Instagram, is expanding its AI-powered translation tool to more users on these platforms. The feature allows users to automatically dub their Instagram Reels videos into another language, with the dubbed audio syncing up with the movement of the speaker's mouth. Currently, the translation option is available for Reels going from English to Spanish and vice versa. Users can enable the feature by selecting the "Translate voices with Meta AI" toggle before publishing a Reel. The tool also offers the option to add lip-syncing to the dubbed video and preview it before posting. Translated Reels will be automatically surfaced to users in their preferred language, and the videos will be tagged as having been translated using Meta's AI technology. The translation tool is now rolling out to Facebook creators with 1,000 or more followers and all public Instagram accounts.
