Insta360 launches new action camera with removable storage
Insta360, a Chinese action camera and drone company, has unveiled the Insta360 GO Ultra, a premium addition to its GO series of compact cameras. The new camera offers significant upgrades, including a 5nm AI chip, a larger 1/1.28-inch sensor, and support for 4K video capture at 60 fps. It also features PureVideo, an AI-powered algorithm that enhances low-light performance. The GO Ultra maintains a similar compact form factor to the previous GO 3S model, but with a slightly larger body and increased weight. This allows for a longer standalone battery life of 70 minutes, which can be extended to 200 minutes with the optional Action Pod. The camera also offers removable storage, expandable up to 2TB. Designed for adventurous users, the GO Ultra is waterproof up to 33 feet and features a magnetic clip system for easy attachment to clothing or equipment. The camera is now available worldwide for $450.
