Katie Ledecky captures yet another gold in signature event at swimming worlds

Katie Ledecky, the American swimmer, has captured another gold medal in her signature event, the 1,500-meter freestyle, at the swimming world championships in Singapore. Ledecky's gold medal in the 1,500m event is her 31st overall, and she now has two medals at the current world championships. Simona Quadarella of Italy won the silver medal, setting a new European record, while Lani Pallister of Australia took the bronze medal in a fast-paced race.
