Gran Turismo 7 Gets Spec III Update In December As Franchise Passes 100 Million Units

Gran Turismo 7, the popular racing simulation game, is set to receive a major update called Spec III in December. The update will introduce two new tracks, eight new cars, a new circuit experience, and a new data logger feature that allows players to review their race data, including information on their race lines, throttle, speed, and engine RPM. The announcement of the Spec III update coincides with the news that the Gran Turismo franchise has surpassed 100 million units sold, a significant milestone for the long-running series. However, the game remains exclusive to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms, with no mention of a PC port, despite Sony's recent trend of releasing some of its titles on the platform.
