Rebecca Ferguson discusses retaining the core of the character without her memories Season 2 of AppleTV’s hit post-apocalyptic thriller Silo ended with the tenacious engineer turned sheriff Juliette Nichols (Rebecca Ferguson) making it back from her trip to Silo 17 and warning Silo 18 that the outside world isn’t safe. The season 3 premiere “Who Are You?” revealed that new head of IT Camille Sims (Alexandria Riley) has been keeping Juliette under control ever since by giving her memory-loss drugs. The effects are so strong that Juliette can’t even recognize her best friends, and she’s been turned into a figurehead mayor by her former enemies. But Ferguson tells Polygon that beneath her seemingly helpless exterior is the same fierce character who inspired a revolution. “When you’ve lived in a character for so long, the character is so sedimented,” Ferguson said in a video interview. “There’s a DNA to her.
