Manchester United close to sealing €21m deal for goalkeeper Senne Lammens

Manchester United are set to sign 23-year-old Belgian goalkeeper Senne Lammens from Royal Antwerp for a fee of €21 million (£18 million) plus add-ons. Lammens, who has nine caps for the Belgium U21 national team, was preferred over Aston Villa's Emiliano Martínez to strengthen United's goalkeeping options under Ruben Amorim. The deal is expected to be completed soon, with Lammens set to sign a five-year contract. Manchester United view Lammens as a promising prospect for the future, who can also challenge André Onana or Altay Bayindir for the starting goalkeeper position immediately.
