US probes Foxconn, Luxshare and 18 others over AI server power patents

AUS trade body has opened a patent case against 20 companies over the power systems inside AI servers. Foxconn, Luxshare and Quanta are among them. The US International Trade Commission acted after a complaint by power-chip maker Vicor, it said on Friday. Vicor says their products infringe one of its patents.
