Tonal's AI-created workouts will adapt to your daily progress
Tonal, a wall-mounted smart gym, has introduced a new AI-powered feature called Daily Lift. This feature analyzes a user's recent lifts and recovery, then creates a personalized workout plan that adapts to their daily progress. The workouts are designed to provide new movements and challenges, based on the same training methodology used by Tonal's coaches. Tonal, a home-workout company, experienced substantial growth during the post-pandemic work-from-home period. However, in 2022, the company had to lay off 35% of its workforce. This year, Tonal launched the Tonal 2, a sleeker and more feature-rich version of its wall-mounted smart gym. Despite the advancements, the Tonal system remains a niche and expensive product, retailing for almost $4,300.
