Loggins has made it clear that he does not want his music associated with the video or the Trump administration. In a statement, he said, "I had no advance knowledge of the use of my song 'This Is It' in the 'No Kings' video, and I'm not interested in participating in any way. I'd appreciate if you would remove my song from the video." The video has been met with criticism, with some viewers describing it as "poop."
