Rúben Dias commits his future to ‘special’ Manchester City until 2029
Manchester City's central defender Rúben Dias has signed a two-year contract extension, committing his future to the club until 2029. Dias, who joined the team in 2020 from Benfica for £62 million, has already won 10 trophies with Manchester City under the management of Pep Guardiola. He was also named the Football Writers' Association Footballer of the Year in his debut season in England. Dias has made 223 appearances for the club and has 68 caps for the Portuguese national team. The player has expressed his desire to continue winning more trophies with the "special" Manchester City, stating that he "couldn't imagine playing anywhere else."
