EcoFlow’s Delta Pro Ultra X can power a home for weeks

EcoFlow has announced the latest version of its "most powerful" and "easy-to-install" whole-home battery backup system, the Delta Pro Ultra X. The new model offers a 60% increase in power output compared to its predecessor, with a continuous output of 12kW that can be scaled up to 36kW when three inverters are used in parallel. The battery capacity can be increased from 12kWh to a massive 180kWh, which could power an average US home for about six days or weeks if only powering critical devices. The Delta Pro Ultra X works with EcoFlow's third-generation Smart Home Panel, which can monitor and control up to 32 circuits, allowing users to shut off non-essential loads during a blackout. The system is also modular, allowing users to scale the installation over time or transport it to a new home. EcoFlow claims the Delta Pro Ultra X can be installed in under seven days by certified electricians. The base bundle, including the inverter unit and two expansion batteries, costs $7,999, while the bundle with the Smart Home Panel 3 costs $10,899.
