Cameron Norrie battles past Comesaña at US Open to set up Djokovic clash
In the US Open, British player Cameron Norrie defeated his Argentinian opponent Francisco Comesaña in a tough four-set match, 7-6 (5), 6-3, 6-7 (0), 7-6 (4). Norrie, who has had a successful grand slam season so far, reached the third round and will now face world number one Novak Djokovic. The match was closely contested, with Norrie initially taking a two-set lead, but Comesaña fought back to take the third set. Ultimately, Norrie was able to regain his composure and win the match in the fourth set tiebreaker.
