Astronaut calls fellow Canadian Ryan Goslingâs movie âextraordinaryâ ahead of Artemis II crewâs lunar fly-around The new space movie Project Hail Mary starring Ryan Gosling has gotten a rave review from more than halfway to the moon. Canadian astronaut Jeremy Hansen said on Saturday that he and his Artemis II crewmates got to watch the film with their families before launching on the lunar fly-around. He said it was âa real treatâ to view the movie while getting ready for his own space adventure. Gosling, Hansenâs fellow Canadian, sent best wishes to the four astronauts in advance of Wednesdayâs liftoff. The actor and astronaut are both from the south-western Ontario city of London. âArt imitates science and vice versa,â Hansen said during a live televised event arranged by the Canadian Space Agency. âI thought it was just such an inspirational example â somebody who goes out there and just gets what was done to save humanity. Itâs a pretty extraordinary example that we can all follow.â Hansen is the first non-US citizen to fly to the moon.
