Battlefield 6 Resolution And Frame Rate Targets For PS5, Xbox Series X|S Revealed
Battlefield 6 has revealed the performance targets for its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions. The game will offer two graphics modes: Fidelity and Performance. The Fidelity mode prioritizes resolution, while the Performance mode targets higher frame rates. On Xbox Series X, the Fidelity mode reaches a maximum of 1440p at 60fps, while the Performance mode goes up to 1280p at 80+fps. The PlayStation 5 has similar targets, with Fidelity mode at 1440p/60fps and Performance mode at 1280p/80+fps. The PlayStation 5 Pro, a rumored upgraded version of the PS5, will have even higher targets, with Fidelity mode at 2160p/60fps and Performance mode at 1620p/80+fps. The Xbox Series S, on the other hand, is limited to a maximum of 1080p/60fps. The PC version of Battlefield 6 will be able to reach up to 4K resolution and 144fps, depending on the user's hardware capabilities.
