Spotify is adding support for third-party DJ apps, again

Spotify has once again enabled integration with third-party DJ apps, allowing Premium subscribers to stream playlists and queue requests directly from desktop versions of Algoriddim's djay software, as well as rekordbox and Serato. This feature was previously removed in 2020 due to licensing issues, but now appears to have been resolved. The integration is currently only available on desktop apps, and it remains to be seen if it will be extended to mobile platforms. Spotify's support for DJs has been limited, but the addition of rekordbox and Serato support suggests a broader effort to cater to the DJ community.
