Liverpool might be ‘impossible to catch’ in title race, says Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca

In a recent interview, Chelsea's Enzo Maresca expressed concerns that Liverpool might be "impossible to catch" in the Premier League title race. Maresca believes Liverpool's current form and substantial spending in the transfer market, which included signing Florian Wirtz for a potential £116m and Alexander Isak for £125m, have given the champions a significant advantage. Chelsea, on the other hand, have had a less than ideal start to the season, with a 2-2 draw against Brentford and a 2-1 defeat to Manchester United, leaving them seven points behind the league leaders. Maresca acknowledged the difficulty his team might face in catching up to Liverpool, who secured the title last season with four matches to spare and have continued their dominance in the current campaign.
