Lewis Hamilton, the renowned Formula 1 driver, is eagerly anticipating the release of the highly anticipated video game, Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6). In a recent interaction with fans, Hamilton expressed his excitement for the game, stating that he plans to "cancel all [his] work" when it is released. Hamilton mentioned that he is an avid gamer, enjoying titles such as Call of Duty, Assassin's Creed, and Gran Turismo. However, he singled out GTA 6 as the game he is most excited for, describing it as the one he is "waiting for." Coincidentally, the release of GTA 6 is scheduled for May 26, 2026, which falls during a small break in the 2026 F1 schedule, potentially allowing Hamilton to indulge in the game without disrupting his professional commitments. Rockstar Games, the developer of the GTA series, had initially planned to release GTA 6 in Fall 2025 but later decided to delay it to May 2026 to ensure the game's "creative vision" is achieved with no limitations, according to Take-Two boss Strauss Zelnick.
