We battery-tested top tablets from Apple, Samsung, and others in our lab: These were the winners

ZDNET conducted battery life tests on flagship tablets from various brands, including Apple, Samsung, and others. The goal was to determine which tablets offer the best battery performance. The tests involved running continuous video playback on each tablet until the battery was fully depleted. The results showed that the iPad Air (2022) from Apple had the longest battery life, lasting over 13 hours. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S8+ and the Microsoft Surface Pro 8 also performed well, with battery life exceeding 10 hours. Other tablets, such as the iPad mini (2021) and the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, had slightly shorter battery life, ranging from 8 to 10 hours. The findings suggest that the latest flagship tablets from Apple, Samsung, and Microsoft offer impressive battery endurance, allowing users to enjoy extended periods of usage without the need for frequent recharging.
