Charlie Woods, son of Tiger, fades late and misses out on Junior Ryder Cup
In a disappointing turn of events, Charlie Woods, the 16-year-old son of golf legend Tiger Woods, missed out on a spot on the US Junior Ryder Cup team after a late fade in the final round of the Junior PGA Championship. Woods, who had shot impressive rounds of 66 in the second and third rounds, entered the final day tied for second place. However, a series of setbacks, including three bogeys and a double-bogey, resulted in a final-round score of 74, dropping him from second to ninth place overall. The championship was won by Ethan Esterline, who finished at 19-under, with Sebastian Puebla finishing in second place.
