In the US, it set a new June hardware sales record, selling 1.6 million units in its first month. In Japan, the Switch 2 also broke the first-month sales record, selling 1.5 million units. Overall, the new update is focused on improving the stability and performance of the Switch 2, without any major new features or changes. The console continues to see strong sales performance in its initial launch period.
