The celebration led to Hatton waking up in a pool of his own vomit in an Indianapolis hotel room. Hatton confessed to consuming a combination of wine, gin, and cocktails during the celebration, and had to hastily clean up the room before leaving. He expressed regret over the incident, stating that he does not want to reach that state of intoxication again.
