On her third renovation of the Victorian terrace she has lived in for 30 years, Ruth Evans chose a palette bursting with colour to backdrop her vast art collection The childrenâs nursery rhyme I Can Sing a Rainbow swirls at the back of my mind as I wander the bright and beautiful rooms of art collector Ruth Evansâs north London home. Red and yellow and pink and green, purple and orange and blue â theyâre all here. Evans (who is also the chair of Stop Scams UK) has lived in this Victorian terrace for 30 years and this is her third refurbishment. âEach renewal of the house marks a stage in my life.
