A hazy photo of a figure darting past a trail camera is the last known sighting of Craig Berry, a special forces veteran at the center of a manhunt whoâs accused of shooting his wife. The image shows a man in camouflage, believed to be Berry, running into the Tennessee woods in the middle of the night after trying to kill his wife, Stewart County Sheriff Frankie Gray told CNN. Berryâs wife called 911 early Friday morning, saying she had been shot during a domestic dispute, an arrest warrant affidavit from the Stewart County Sheriffâs Office says. By the time investigators got to the coupleâs home, Berry had vanished, Gray said. And the 53-year-old hasnât been seen since. The former Green Beret is now wanted on suspicion of second-degree attempted murder, domestic assault, aggravated assault and leaving the scene of an accident, court documents show.
