The iPad mini with A17 Pro chip is down to $399, an even $100 below Apple’s asking price and the lowest this tablet has ever been sold for anywhere, with 128GB storage, Wi-Fi 6E, a 12MP front and rear camera, Apple Intelligence, and compatibility with Apple Pencil Pro. No Prime membership required, and Apple’s site remains at $499. The A17 Pro is the same chip Apple put in the iPhone 15 Pro, and it’s now running the iPad mini. That means the smallest iPad in Apple’s lineup has the most powerful chip in Apple’s mobile lineup, which produces a tablet that handles photo and video editing, 4K video export, demanding games, and the full suite of Apple Intelligence features without any of the performance compromises that usually come with a compact form factor.
