Cyberpunk TCG Is Raising So Much Money So Fast on Kickstarter Its Designer Can't Keep Up With Stretch Goals

An official Cyberpunk Trading Card Game has raised $7.5 million on Kickstarter, hitting its $100,000 goal in just five minutes and becoming the most-funded trading card game (TCG) in the crowdfunding platform's history. Developed by WeirdCo in conjunction with CD Projekt Red, the TCG will bring the Cyberpunk franchise to the "physical trading card space for the first time." The debut Cyberpunk TCG set, Welcome to Night City, is set to launch later this year, and includes iconic characters like V, Jackie Welles, Johnny Silverhand, and Judy Álvarez. Players can mix and match their favorite characters in competitive decks or personal collections, with Set 2 expanding the game further and fully introducing characters from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.
