Murder arrest after man found unresponsive in Lowestoft park

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found unresponsive in a park and later died. Suffolk Police was called to Sparrow's Nest Gardens in Lowestoft at about 22:15 GMT on Friday. The force said the man in his 50s was treated by emergency services but "later declared deceased" and a 28-year-old woman was arrested at the scene. A spokesperson added detectives were treating it as an isolated incident, and appealed for witnesses to come forward. A Home Office post-mortem examination will take place in due course.
