The Batman Part 2 recently started filming, and director Matt Reeves has been excitedly posting about the production on X. On May 14, he posted "Next exit, Gotham... Welcome" with a GIF of Scarlett Johansson in the rearview mirror of a car from Under the Skin. He then shared another post that read "In a Gotham state of mind... Welcome," accompanied by a GIF of Sebastian Stan. Johansson and Stan's involvement in The Batman Part 2 had previously been teased by Deadline and The Hollywood Reporter, but DC Studios had not officially acknowledged those reports.
